What to Serve at a Flavor Tripping Party

The idea with a flavor tripping party (where guests gather to try the miracle fruit) is to serve foods that are very sour - things that without the berry will give you the same squniched up faces as Brad and Christina in the photo above.

Groom 1.0 asked that each guest bring something sour to his flavor tripping party (and $5 for the cost of the miracle berry).
This worked out nicely because with little effort and cost on the host's part, we ended up with a wide array of things to try.

At our party, we ended up with:
  • Lemons
  • Limes
  • Grapefruits
  • Sour candy
  • Bleu Cheese
  • Chocolate (sure, it's not sour to start with, but we were curious)
  • Olives
  • Guinness
  • A few assorted sour drinks
  • Sour cupcakes with goat cheese frosting
It was definitely not your standard party food!

Whether you like it or not, you should try all of these foods before tasting the miracle berries. Otherwise, you won't know just how much of a difference the miracle fruit makes.
