Cupcakes with filling are always crowd-pleasers. I've used three different methods to fill cupcakes:
- Use a small paring knife to cut a cone out of the center of the cupcake. Fill with your favorite cupcake filling, replace the piece you removed, and frost.
- Fill a piping bag with your filling, stick the tip into the center of the cupcake, and fill. This method only works with light, airy cupcakes.
- Use a cupcake corer (my favorite method) to make a hole in the cupcake. Fill with your favorite cupcake filling, replace the piece you removed, and frost.
